ICT Teacher (Full-Time) - Darlington

Location: Darlington, County DurhamCompany: Tradewind RecruitmentJob Type: Full-Time (Supply)Start Date: ASAP - Maternity Cover (until Easter 2027)Salary: £168.80 - £261.78 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

About the Role

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic ICT Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Darlington on a full-time basis. This role is available for an immediate start and will run as a maternity cover until Easter 2027.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and forward-thinking school environment, delivering engaging and high-quality ICT and Computing lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop their digital skills, computational thinking, and confidence in using technology effectively.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering structured lessons, assessing student progress, and creating an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment. The ability to teach a range of topics such as digital literacy, programming, and online safety will be essential.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching ICT or Computing at secondary level
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Confidence delivering both theoretical xwzovoh and practical lessons
• Knowledge of current ICT curriculum and e-safety practices
• Two professional references covering the last two years
• A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• A proactive, reliable, and adaptable approach to teaching
