The Role This is an opportunity for an experienced Principal Transport Planner to take a leading role in project delivery while supporting the growth of a dynamic and collaborative team. You’ll be involved in both technical delivery and client-facing work, with real influence over projects and the direction of schemes. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage transport planning projects from inception through to delivery Prepare and review key technical documents, including: Transport Assessments & Statements Travel Plans Technical Notes and supporting documents Provide strategic transport advice to clients and project teams Support and manage junior team members Attend client meetings, site visits, and public consultations Liaise with local authorities and key stakeholders What They’re Looking For Proven experience in transport planning (consultancy or local authority) Strong technical background in development planning Experience producing and reviewing Transport Assessments Ability to manage projects and client relationships independently Excellent written and verbal communication skills Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Civil Engineering, Geography, Transport Planning) Why Join?
