QA Manager – Groundworks Location: Surrey / Sussex Salary: £40,000 – £70,000 + Package The Company Our client is a growing and highly respected groundworks and civil engineering contractor operating across the south of the UK. The business has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality substructure, infrastructure, and drainage solutions across residential and commercial developments. With continued expansion and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are now looking to appoint an QA Manager to drive quality standards across multiple live sites. The Role * Leading and implementing QA systems and processes across multiple groundworks & civil engineering sites * Carrying out site audits, inspections, and compliance checks * Ensuring all works meet industry standards, specifications, and client requirements * Working closely with site teams, engineers, and management to improve quality performance * Managing documentation, ITPs, and handover processes Requirements * Proven experience in a QA / Quality Manager role * Strong understanding of substructure, drainage, and infrastructure packages * Experience working across multiple live sites * Knowledge of ISO standards, QA systems, and compliance processes * Excellent attention to detail and leadership skills Why Join? * Join a contractor known for quality delivery and strong client relationships * Work across a variety of high-value residential and infrastructure projects * Be part of a business investing in people, systems, and long-term growth * Genuine opportunity to shape and lead the quality function within the business
