SUPPORT WORKER REQUIRED – PLYMOUTH 📍 Location: Plymouth 💷 Pay Rate: £15.34 per hour 📅 Contract: Temporary – 3 Months ⏰ Hours: 37 hours per week - Monday–Friday with some weekend work We are currently recruiting for a Support Worker to join a Complex Needs Service supporting Adults and Families in Plymouth. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about helping vulnerable individuals promote independence, wellbeing, and recovery. Key Responsibilities: Supporting individuals with tenancy management and daily living skills Encouraging budgeting, wellbeing, and social inclusion Delivering person-centred support plans Promoting independence and positive outcomes Maintaining accurate records and risk assessments Working alongside partner agencies and support services Essential Requirements: ✔ Experience supporting vulnerable people or individuals with complex needs ✔ Ability to build professional relationships and maintain boundaries ✔ Confident lone worker and team player ✔ Good literacy and numeracy skills ✔ Understanding of safeguarding, equality, and diversity ✔ Flexible approach to working hours Desirable: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care or related field Previous housing support experience Knowledge of benefits, employment, or support pathways ⚠ Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
