Contract – Long term
Night shifts only: Sunday to Wednesday evening – 19.00pm – 05.00am
Hourly rate: £26.54 umbrella / O/T £30.72 PAYE is als a option
Free car parking on site
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Auxiliary / Semi-Skilled Fitter to join our team. This role involves supporting workshop operations, with a strong focus on cleaning and preparing mechanical parts for maintenance and repair.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and degrease mechanical components using appropriate equipment and materials
• Assist skilled fitters with basic fitting, assembly, and disassembly tasks
• Prepare parts for inspection, servicing, and reassembly
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
• Identify and report any damaged or faulty components
• Support general workshop duties as required
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a workshop, engineering, or manufacturing environment preferred
• Basic mechanical knowledge xwzovoh or interest in engineering
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to work as part of a team
