Job Title Associate Director Fire Engineering Location North West Salary £70,000 - £90,000 Employment Type Permanent Job Overview Associate Director Fire Engineering job in the North West, leading the development of a new fire engineering service within an established built environment consultancy. Suited to a senior fire engineer with strong technical and commercial capability, the role covers fire strategies, design and compliance across healthcare, education, logistics, residential, commercial, mixed-use and high-rise projects. Role & Responsibilities Lead and grow a new Fire Engineering service Produce fire strategies, reports and technical design advice Build and develop the technical team Develop client relationships and support new work generation Collaborate with wider building safety consultancy teams Skills & Experience Required Demonstrable experience leading complex Fire Engineering projects Relevant Fire Engineering, Structural Engineering or related degree Chartered Engineer preferred; candidates nearing chartership considered Strong fire legislation, guidance and PAS 9980 knowledge Commercial, client development and technical leadership capability Salary & Benefits £70,000 - £90,000 depending on experience 10% car allowance and share options opportunity Hybrid and flexible working arrangements 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and birthday leave Private healthcare, pension, life assurance and EV scheme About Hunter Dunning Hunter Dunning is a specialist property and built environment recruitment consultancy established in 2004, focused on quality and long-term partnerships in the UK and Ireland property and construction market.
