HGV 2 Driver

MKD Recruit are seeking experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our client, a pallet distribution company at their site in Stretham, near Ely. Cambridgeshire. If you have at least 6 months experience of driving Class 2 / HGV II / Rigids and are looking for a well paid and long term / ongoing opportunity covering the East of England What We Offer: * Great Pay: £17.08/hour Mon-Fri, £20.16/hour Saturdays * Weekly Pay * Modern, Low Mileage Vehicles, Electric Pallet Trucks * Pension * Refer a friend Bonus £250.00* conditions apply * Regular, ongoing work, with a potential for Temp-to-Perm This full time, Monday - Friday role starts at 07:30 with varied finishing times and will see you delivering and collecting pallets across the region. * Operate a curtain sided HGV Class 2 with a tail lift. * Plan routes effectively while adhering to legal driving hours * Load and unload pallets safely, ensuring items a secured properly during transit * Conduct daily vehicle inspections * Operate the proof of delivery EPA system properly (training given) Requirements: * Valid UK HGV Class 2 driving licence * Up-to-date CPC and DIGI Card * Minimum 6 months of Class 2 driving experience * A reliable and punctual work ethic * A maximum of 6 points (Must NOT include: IN10, DD, DR or DG) Immediate starts are available
