About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Sales Negotiator & Sales Progressor to join a busy and professional property team based in Alnwick.
This is a varied, full-time office-based role combining both front-end sales and after-sales progression. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating and negotiating sales, as well as managing agreed transactions through to completion, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for all parties involved.
The role will also include handling enquiries, supporting general office administration, maintaining compliance procedures, and carrying out property viewings where required.
Key Responsibilities
• Register applicants and manage buyer enquiries
• Arrange and conduct property viewings
• Negotiate offers between buyers and sellers
• Manage the sales progression process from sale agreed through to completion
• Liaise with buyers, sellers, solicitors, mortgage brokers, surveyors, and other professionals
• Proactively chase all parties to ensure transactions progress efficiently
• Identify and resolve any issues or delays affecting timescales
• Provide regular updates to clients throughout the process
• Ensure compliance and AML documentation is accurate and up to date
• Maintain accurate records using internal systems and CRM databases
• Support the wider team with administrative duties where required
Skills & Experience
• Previous experience in sales, property, conveyancing, legal administration, or a similar client-facing role
• Strong understanding of sales or transaction processes, ideally within property or legal contexts
• Knowledge of compliance procedures and AML requirements is desirable
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks or transactions simultaneously
• Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems
• Proactive, solution-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Professional and customer-focused approach
