About the role

We are looking for a Graduate Quality Engineer to join a leading aerospace manufacturer. With a strong focus on safety, compliance, and continuous improvement, we are looking for a motivated Graduate Quality Engineer to join the Quality team and develop their career in a highly regulated, high-performance environment. As a Graduate Quality Engineer, you will support the Quality team in ensuring products and processes meet aerospace standards and customer requirements. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across manufacturing, supplier quality, and compliance within AS9100-certified operations. Graduate Quality Engineer Permanent Position £30,000 per annum  Mon–Thu: 7am–4pm or 8am–5pm and Fri: 7am–12pm or 8am–1pm Derby Key Responsibilities: Support internal quality assurance activities across production and engineering Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone) Help maintain compliance with AS9100, ISO9001, and customer requirements Review manufacturing documentation, inspection plans, and FAI submissions (AS9102) Support non-conformance investigations and concession processes Work with suppliers to improve quality performance Analyse quality data and produce reports on KPIs (scrap, rework, yield, etc.)Essential Experience & Skills: Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Aerospace, or related discipline Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking Interest in quality engineering and regulated industries Good problem-solving and communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Benefits: 5% employer / 3% employee pension 25 days holiday + bank holidays Early finish every Friday Training and development opportunities
