Maintenance Engineer (Multi-Skilled) Location: Peterborough Salary: Up to £45,000 Basic + Overtime (OTE £48,000+) Shift: Rotating Early / Late – No Nights This is an opportunity to join a well-invested, forward-thinking manufacturing site where engineering is taken seriously. The Role You’ll play a key part in keeping a high-performing production facility running efficiently. The focus isn’t just reactive maintenance — it’s about improving reliability, reducing downtime, and contributing to continuous improvement across the plant. Your responsibilities will include: * Electrical and mechanical fault finding on production machinery * Planned preventative maintenance across the site * Supporting equipment upgrades and improvement projects * Identifying root causes and implementing long-term fixes * Maintaining high safety and operational standards Shift Pattern * Week 1: 05:30 – 14:00 * Week 2: 13:30 – 22:00 * 1 in 4 Saturdays compulsory, paid at time and a half No night shifts. Structured rotation. Predictable overtime that boosts your earnings.
