Fit-Out Estimator Location - Huddersfield Salary/Package - £50,000 About the Company A well-established commercial interiors and fit-out contractor delivering high-quality retail, hospitality and leisure projects across the UK. With an excellent reputation for quality delivery, attention to detail and long-standing client relationships, the business works on fast-paced fit-out and refurbishment schemes ranging from small works through to projects valued at £3 million. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Fit-Out Estimator to join their commercial team in Huddersfield. The Role Working within a busy estimating department, you will be responsible for preparing competitive tenders and cost estimates for retail, hospitality and leisure fit-out projects nationwide. You will liaise closely with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal delivery teams to ensure accurate pricing and successful project handovers. As Fit-Out Estimator, you will be responsible for: Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for commercial fit-out projects Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations Producing accurate take-offs and cost plans Identifying value engineering opportunities Attending site visits and pre-tender meetings where required Working closely with project delivery and commercial teams throughout the tender process Managing multiple tenders simultaneously within strict deadlines Supporting negotiations and assisting with securing new business opportunities The Ideal Candidate The successful Fit-Out Estimator will have: Previous estimating experience within retail, hospitality or leisure fit-out projects A strong understanding of commercial interiors and shopfitting Experience pricing projects up to £3 million Excellent knowledge of subcontractor packages and fit-out materials Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail The ability to read and interpret technical drawings Good communication and negotiation skills The ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software What's on Offer Salary of £50,000 Long-term career progression opportunities Secure pipeline of nationwide projects Supportive and collaborative working environment Opportunity to work with established blue-chip clients across the retail and leisure sectors Stable and growing business with an excellent industry reputation Apply: If you're interested in this opportunity, then please get in touch today with our Commercial Specialist, Mark Harris.
