Quality Assurance (QA) Manager
Location: Thurrock Office (On-site)
Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (Dependent on experience)

Our client is a leading provider of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) solutions, delivering high-quality services across commercial, industrial, and residential projects. With a focus on safety, efficiency, and innovation, and committed to excellence in everything they do.
They are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QA Manager to lead and manage all aspects of quality assurance across our projects and operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement across the business.
Duties:
* Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) across MEP projects.
* Ensure compliance with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and relevant regulatory requirements.
* Lead internal and external audits, inspections, and quality reviews.
* Monitor and report on quality performance across projects and departments.
* Support project teams in preparing and managing project-specific quality plans and ITPs.
* Conduct root cause analysis and manage non-conformance reporting (NCRs), corrective and preventive actions.
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies regarding quality matters.
* Train and support staff on QA procedures, best practices, and document control.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement and drive initiatives to enhance quality performance.
* Maintain up-to-date records and prepare regular quality reports for senior management.
Requirements:
* Degree or HND in Engineering, Quality Management, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a QA/QC role, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership position.
* Strong knowledge of quality systems, industry regulations, and audit processes.
* Previous experience in a Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) or MEP environment.
* Proficiency in managing ISO 9001 QMS and document control systems.
* Internal or Lead Auditor qualification (ISO 9001).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
