Mechanical Estimator - Hybrid

We’re working with a growing and highly respected M&E Contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join their expanding Pre-Construction team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Estimator looking to take the next step in their career, with a clear pathway into a Pre-Construction Manager role as the business continues to grow. The company delivers a range of commercial fit-out, refurbishment and M&E projects across London and the South East, with project values typically ranging from £500k - £3m. They have built an excellent reputation within the market and continue to secure repeat business with leading clients and main contractors. The Role: * Preparing detailed mechanical estimates and cost plans * Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documents * Producing accurate take-offs and pricing submissions * Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations * Working closely with the Directors and operational teams during the pre-construction phase * Attending client meetings and supporting value engineering exercises * Assisting with handovers to delivery teams once projects are secured What They’re Looking For: * Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator within the M&E / Building Services sector * Strong commercial awareness and technical understanding * Experience pricing commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects would be advantageous * Confident communicator with the ability to work closely with clients and internal teams * Ambitious individual looking to progress into a broader Pre-Construction Management role Package: * £75,000 - £80,000 basic salary * 5% annual bonus * Travel expenses covered * Hybrid working available * Clear progression into a Pre-Construction Manager position * Excellent opportunity to join a growing business where you can genuinely make an impact If you’d be interested in hearing more, please get in touch for a confidential conversation
