CNC Turner (4 day week)

Role: CNC Turner Setter / Operator Location: Hinckley, Leicestershire Salary: £16.77/hour - £18.20per hour + £564.60-£650 per month shift pay + Overtime available (OTE - £45,000-£50,000) Hours: Monday – Thursday (4-day week)Week 1-2: 06:00 – 15:45, Week 2-4: 15:45 – 01:00 Job Type: Full time, Permanent ________________________________________ The Package: • Competitive hourly rate + monthly shift allowance • Overtime available @ 1.5x • 4-day working week (Friday off!) • 22 days annual leave + Public Holidays (pro rata) • Training & development opportunities • Internal progression routes • Company pension scheme • Company sick pay ________________________________________ The Duties: • Operate and set CNC Turning machines • Work with Fanuc and Siemens control systems • Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications • Set tools and edit programs • Inspect own work using precision measuring equipment • Perform basic machine maintenance (TPM) • Raise PIRs when required • Maintain 5S standards in the work area • Handle components, jigs, and fixtures safely • Work independently and report to supervision ________________________________________ The Requirements: • Minimum 5 years’ experience in CNC Turning • Apprentice trained (preferred) • Strong understanding of Fanuc/Siemens systems • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications • Skilled in inspection and quality control • Self-motivated with good initiative ________________________________________ Interaction Recruitment: We have specialist consultants across various industries within the UK, including but not limited to, Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial, and Hospitality.
