What youll do
Providing clear, pragmatic commercial legal advice across a broad range of services, suppliers and partnerships you will
Advise colleagues on commercialissuesto reduce legal risk.
Draft and negotiate contracts that support services, suppliers and partners.
Spot legal issues early and give clear recommendations that guide decisions.
Build strong relationships so teams come to you before a problem grows.
Track transactions and share trends to help improve how we work.

You have
Experience providing independent commercial legal advice and managing your own workload
Confidence negotiating commercial contracts and managing risk
Experience mentoring or supervising others
A law degree and/or solicitor or barrister qualification (or equivalent experience)
Strong commercial contract and procurement law knowledge (IT contracts beneficial)

The practical bits
Monday to Friday, part-time arrangements will be considered
Hybrid working (currently Monday and Wednesday are our Newcastle office days)
Youll manage your own diary and workload, supported by an experienced legal team
