You'll handle a varied caseload of Legal Aid Family matters, with a strong focus on children work. This is a hands-on role where you'll be trusted to manage your own files while being supported by an experienced team of fee earners, consultants and support staff. You'll be joining a well-structured Family department made up of fee earners, consultants and dedicated support staff, all working together to deliver high-quality Legal Aid services. Key Responsibilities Managing a caseload of Legal Aid Family matters Advising clients on a range of children matters and broader family issues Representing clients in court where required Ensuring compliance with Legal Aid requirements and standards Delivering a high standard of client care What We're Looking For A qualified Lawyer with 5+ years' PQE (or equivalent) in Family Law Strong experience in Legal Aid Family work Children Panel Membership is highly desirable (but not essential) Confident managing your own caseload independently A committed and empathetic approach to client care Strong organisational and communication skills This is an excellent opportunity for a Family Lawyer who enjoys Legal Aid work and wants to be part of a growing, supportive team where your contribution is genuinely valued.
