The business is in the Middlesborough area and will be looking to appoint their chosen applicant ASAP. This role is working day shifts, and if you meet the person specification below, apply now for an immediate response! The Job you will do: * Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure optimal performance * Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults and carry out timely repairs * Respond to breakdowns quickly to minimize downtime and production disruption * Conduct inspections and identify potential issues before they become major problems * Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and parts used * Follow health and safety regulations and always ensure a safe working environment * Install, test, and commission new equipment or system upgrades * Work with tools, diagnostic equipment, and technical manuals to complete tasks efficiently * Collaborate with other departments, contractors, or engineers to resolve complex issues * Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components About you: * It is essential that you are a time served engineer, holding a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. * Ideally you will hold an 18th edition qualification, however this is not essential. * You will have a robust understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. * It is essential that you can perform basic PLC fault finding. * Flexible to work over the weekend if needed. * Ideally you will be from a high paced manufacturing background, but this not essential
