CNC Miller Salary – £16ph for Setter Operators, £19ph for Programmers Core hours: Mon-Thurs 07:30 – 16:15 & Friday 07:30 – 12:00 (overtime offered based on current workload) Are you looking for a new and exciting challenge, with a forward-thinking organisation within the high-tech engineering sector? About the opportunity As a CNC Milling Operator, you will be responsible for operating one of their many CNC machines (3 or 5 axis). You will be expected to understand and work to the job pack provided, inclusive of offline supplied set-up sheets & programmes for specific work. In addition, you will also be expected to produce your own programmes where suitable. Essential’s * Time served CNC miller * Ability to work within a team and to tight deadlines * Ability to read and interpret complex 3D Models & 2D drawings * Ability to programme using 2D drawings & 3D models when supplied * Have previous machining experience in a similar manufacturing environment using Heidenhain software. * Experience running Doosan and Correa machines preferred but not essential.
