TIG Welder – Fabrication Pay Rate: £15.00 – £17.50 per hour (depending on experience) Hours: 42.5 hours per week (Full-time, Monday to Friday) Job Type: Permanent Position Role Overview We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join a busy fabrication and engineering environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for high-quality welding, fabrication, and assembly work across a range of materials, working to precise engineering specifications. Key Responsibilities * TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminium, and other metals * Reading and interpreting technical drawings and engineering specifications * Ensuring all welds meet required quality standards and tolerances * Inspecting finished work for accuracy and compliance * Maintaining tools, equipment, and a clean, safe working environment * Working effectively as part of a production/fabrication team Candidate Requirements * Proven TIG welding experience (stainless steel/aluminium preferred) * Ability to read and understand engineering drawings * Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship standards * Good understanding of health & safety in a workshop environment * NVQ or equivalent qualification in welding (desirable but not essential) Salary Structure * Under 3 years TIG welding experience: £15.00 – £16.25 per hour * 3+ years TIG welding experience: £16.50 – £17.50 per hour What’s on Offer * Permanent, long-term opportunity * Full-time stable employment * Overtime opportunities available * Company pension scheme * On-site parking * Supportive working environment
