Social Worker – Child Health and Disability (CHAD) Team 📍 Location: Bournemouth 💰 Rate: £40.90 per hour 🕒 Contract: Ongoing / Long-Term About the Role We are looking for an experienced Social Worker to join the Child Health and Disability (CHAD) Team in Bournemouth. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people with disabilities and complex needs, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care, protection, and support. You will play a vital role in improving outcomes for children by working closely with families, health professionals, and education services. Key Responsibilities * Manage a caseload of children with disabilities and complex needs * Undertake statutory assessments, care planning, and reviews * Work in partnership with multi-agency teams including health and education * Safeguard children and promote their wellbeing * Support families with tailored interventions and support plans * Prepare reports for meetings, panels, and court (where required) About You * Qualified Social Worker (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) * Registered with Social Work England * Experience working within a Children with Disabilities or CHAD team * Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding frameworks * Excellent communication and multi-agency working skills * Ability to manage complex and sensitive cases effectively What’s on Offer * Competitive £40.90 per hour rate * Flexible working options (where available) * Supportive and collaborative team environment * Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children with additional needs Apply Now If you are an experienced Social Worker with a passion for supporting children with disabilities, we want to hear from you
