Nursery Assistant - Baby Room Walthamstow, E17 (commutable from Leyton, Chingford, Tottenham, Woodford, South Woodford) £105-£115 per day Start Date: ASAP Contract: Full-time, long-term temporary Long Term Futures is seeking a caring, attentive and nurturing Nursery Assistant to support a baby room within a welcoming and well-established nursery in Walthamstow. This role is ideal for someone with experience in early years or childcare, particularly working with babies, who understands the importance of creating a safe, calm and stimulating environment to support early development. About the Role Working closely with the nursery team, your responsibilities will include: * Supporting babies with daily care routines, including feeding, changing and sleep schedules * Creating a safe, warm and nurturing environment for young children * Supporting early sensory and developmental activities * Building strong relationships with children, staff and parents * Maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety and safeguarding * Assisting with setting up activities and keeping the room organised * Observing and supporting early development milestones This is a hands-on role where patience, attentiveness and a genuine passion for early years care are essential.
