We’re working in partnership with a well-established and respected multi-disciplinary consultancy, as they continue to expand their Romsey office. Due to sustained growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Civil Engineer with a strong background in drainage design to play a key role in delivering interesting projects that contribute positively to communities and the environment  The Role: Lead the design and delivery of surface water and foul drainage schemes Prepare Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) and SAB applications Undertake drainage strategies in line with current regulations and best practice (SuDS focus) Support highway design where required, including S278, S38, and S104 agreements Manage project workflows, providing guidance and mentorship to junior engineers Liaise with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders including local authorities and statutory bodies Projects span a wide range of sectors, including residential developments, education, conservation, industrial schemes, commercial projects and more. Ideal Skills & Experience: 3+ years’ experience in civil engineering, with a strong emphasis on drainage design Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroDrainage/Flow (or similar software) Good understanding of SuDS principles and UK drainage standards Strong communication and organisational skills Ambition to progress professionally within a growing consultancy What’s on Offer: Salary £30,000 - £55,000 35 hour working week 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Bi-annual profit share scheme Private healthcare and health insurance cover Company pension
