EmploymentTermsfortheImportFreightAccountManager Thecompanyisofferingabasesalarybetween£35-40kNEGdependingonlevelofexperience. GeneralhoursareMondaytoFriday09:00-17:30hrs(Someflexibilitywhenrequired). JobOverview TheroleforanImportFreightAccountManagerisextremelyvariedwhereyouwillbecomeakeymemberofanoperationsteam,activelyinvolvedinmanagingimportsshipmentsfromstarttofinish.Youwillberesponsibleforarrangingshipmentsbytheappropriatemethodtosuittheclientsrequirementi.e.airfreight,roadfreight,courier,seafreight&crosstrademovements.Youwillbehandsonwitheveryaspectoftheforwardingprocess,ensuringthecustomerreceivesthehighestlevelofservice,andthattheyreceivetheirgoodssafelyandon-time. TasksandresponsibilitiesfortheImportFreightAccountManager: Workingtostrictdeadlinestoco-ordinateWorldwidemultimodalimportswithendtoendresponsibility(liaisingwithoverseasagents/airlines/transportprovidersandcustomersuntilpointofdelivery). Strongcustomerrelationshipstounderstandrequirementsandalwaysdeliverexcellentcustomerservice. ProcessingrelevantimportdocumentationincludingsubmittingImportCustomsentriesusingASMSequoia. Liaisingeffectivelyandbuildingcloserelationshipswithoursupplychainincludingshippers,importers,agentsandclients. Quotations,pricingandinvoicingclients. Requirements,Skills&ExperiencefortheImportFreightAccountManager: Minimum3+yearsexperienceininastarttofinishroleinAirFreightImports. Customsentryexperience Customerservice-excellenttelephonemannerandEnglishcommunicationskills(verbal&written) Computerliterate-goodlevelonMicrosoftWord/Excel. Inhousesystems-useofCargowiseOneisconsideredanadvantage. DesiredcharacteristicsfortheImportFreightAccountManager: Hardworking&enthusiasticwithahighlevelofattentiontodetail. Apositivecan-doattitude,withawillingnesstolearn/takeresponsibilityanddevelopnewskills. Quickproblem-solvingability,particularlywhenworkingunderpressure. Excellentcommunicationandcustomerserviceskills,withabilitytobuildrelationshipwithclientsanddeliverahighlevelofcustomercare. Theabilitytoadapttochangingcircumstances.
