Service Advisor

PS Ltd is seeking a professional and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our automotive client in Newark NG24. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their vehicle service needs are met efficiently and courteously. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your customer service skills, mechanical knowledge, and sales abilities within a dynamic environment. The Service Advisor will be responsible for managing service appointments, advising customers on repairs and maintenance, and ensuring a smooth flow of communication between the workshop and clients. Duties * Greet customers warmly and establish rapport to understand their vehicle concerns * Provide detailed explanations of required repairs and maintenance services * Upsell additional services or products that benefit the customer’s vehicle care * Prepare accurate estimates and process cash handling transactions efficiently * Schedule service appointments and follow up on pending work to ensure timely completion * Liaise with the workshop team to communicate customer needs and vehicle status updates * Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, services performed, and billing information * Ensure high standards of customer satisfaction through professional communication and service excellence Qualifications * Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within the automotive industry or similar environment * Mechanical knowledge or background is highly desirable to effectively communicate technical information * Strong skills in upselling and identifying opportunities for additional services or products * Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanour * Organised with good time management skills to manage multiple appointments efficiently * A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer satisfaction To apply for the Service Advisor role, please do so online and a member of the team will be in touch!
