We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Media Specialist to join a thriving college on a full-time basis from 1st September until October Half Term.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Media professional with a passion for engaging and inspiring young people.
The RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Delivering Media lessons to college students.
- Providing tutor group cover as required.
- Supporting with cross-college cover duties where necessary.
- Planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons that promote student progress.
- Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and achievement.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to support students across the college.
The college day runs from 8:45am - 4:00pm, including a 45-minute lunch break.
Teaching periods are:
- 8:45am - 10:15am
- 10:30am - 12:00pm
- 12:45pm - 2:15pm
- 2:30pm - 4:00pm
- Experience teaching or delivering Media-related subjects.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Flexible and proactive approach to supporting the wider college community.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
