We’re looking for a confident and motivated Estates Technical Manager to lead a busy technical estates operation within a healthcare environment.

You’ll be responsible for leading a team, managing important engineering and maintenance services, and identifying ways to continually improve the estate.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing

* Lead the day-to-day delivery of technical estates and facilities management services.

* Manage and oversee planned and reactive maintenance.

* Ensure buildings, plant, equipment and critical systems remain safe, compliant and operational.

* Develop and manage the annual planned preventative maintenance programme.

* Ensure all health, safety, statutory and contractual requirements are met.

* Lead, motivate and develop the Estates team through coaching and support.

* Manage contractors, suppliers and key stakeholder relationships.

* Deputise for the Contract Manager when required.

* Manage operational risks and support asset replacement programmes.

* Monitor budgets, costs and financial performance.

* Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, performance and service delivery.

* Experienced in technical estates, engineering or hard facilities management.

* A confident leader who can motivate and develop a team.

* Organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities.

* Knowledgeable about health, safety and statutory compliance.

* Comfortable managing contractors, budgets and maintenance programmes.

* A strong communicator who can build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.

* Passionate about delivering high standards and continually improving services
