Scope of the Role
As a Mechatronics Engineer, you'll be responsible for owning electronics design within highly integrated electromechanical products, taking concepts through to technical file transfer.
- Lead schematic design, PCB layout oversight, debugging and hands-on board bring-up
- Own electronics design data, revision control and change processes
- Collaborate on electromechanical design with mechanical and software engineers
- Drive electronics design for manufacture, assembly, test and production transfer
- Support risk management activities within regulated electro-mechanical systems
Key Skills and Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Mechatronics Engineer delivering products into manufacture
- Professional schematic capture and PCB design for shipped electro-mechanical systems
- Hands-on debugging, fault-finding and modification of electronic assemblies
- Experience working in regulated environments with documentation and change control
- Strong collaboration skills with Mechatronics Engineer, mechanical and software peers
Salary and Benefits
- £60,000 to £65,000 basic salary
- Hybrid working with a minimum of two days per week on-site in Leeds
- Increased on-site time during build, test and verification phases
