Following continued site investment and growth, we are looking for a Electrical Engineer or Technicianto join the team at their Basingstoke facility.

What youll be doing:
Working as part of a high-performing engineering team, this Shift Engineer / Technician role will play a key part in maximising uptime across manufacturing, facilities, and laboratory equipment. This is a varied, hands-on position where no two days are the same, combining reactive maintenance, preventative activities, and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance across manufacturing, facilities and lab equipment
Supporting instrumentation calibration and maintaining validated specifications
Diagnosing faults and implementing effective corrective actions
Working alongside contractors on specialist maintenance activities
Supporting commissioning of new equipment and processes
Contributing to continuous improvement and optimisation of maintenance strategies
Ensuring all work is completed in line with safety, quality and compliance standards
What were looking for:
Apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in an engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation etc.)
Experience in a maintenance role within a regulated or manufacturing environment
Understanding of preventative maintenance and calibration activities
Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive approach
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
