CNC Setter - Turning Coventry Day Shift: 08:30am – 17:00pm + overtime Hours: 40 hours per week, full time Permanent position £18.50 - £22.00 per hour + overtime rates About MNB Precision MNB Precision is a Coventry based precision engineering business with over 40 years of experience, supplying high-integrity components into demanding sectors including Oil & Gas, Defence, Power Generation, Rail and Heavy Industry. The Role The CNC Setter vacancy is a hands-on CNC role for an experienced machinist who enjoys technical, low-volume/high-value work. For the role of CNC Setter, you will: * Set and operate CNC machines (Turning) including Mazak and Doosan Machines. * Work from engineering drawings to tight tolerances * Inspect your own work using precision measuring equipment * Contribute to continuous improvement and quality standards * Work as part of a skilled, supportive shopfloor team Why Work for MNB? * Stable, long-established employer with a strong order book * Interesting, challenging components * Clean, well-equipped facility with ongoing investment * Overtime available to boost earnings * Long-term opportunities for skilled machinists who want job security * Respect for experience - your knowledge is valued here What we're looking for as a CNC Setter: * Proven experience as a CNC Machinist/Setter within a precision manufacturing business * Experience with Fanuc/Mazatrol controls * Experience machining large components (MNB Precision have anything up to 8 metres in length x 800mm diameter) * Experience working with exotic materials including Inconel or Duplex. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings as well as GD&T symbols. * Strong attention to detail and pride in quality * A reliable, team-focused approach is required for the CNC Machinist role.
