People Solutions are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Weekend Drivers to join our well-established client based in Garretts Green, Birmingham .

This position is ideal for applicants seeking a role as an LGV Class 1 Driver, Category CE Driver, or Articulated Lorry Driver .
Shifts:
Saturday – Days – Early starts
Sunday – Days – Early starts
Sunday – Nights – Late starts
Rates of Pay:
Saturday: £18.50 per hour
Sunday: £20.50 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:
As an HGV Class 1 Driver , your duties will include (but are not limited to):
Depot-to-depot trunking routes and trailer swaps
Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Ensuring all loads are secured safely and correctly
Adhering to traffic laws, company procedures, and delivery schedules
Essential Skills:
As an HGV Class 1 Driver , you will need:
A valid UK Category CE (Class 1) driving licence
A minimum of one year's Category CE driving experience
No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major offences
A valid UK CPC card and Digital xwzovoh Tachograph Card
Good spoken and written English
Desirable Experience:
Previous commercial driving experience
Training:
Driver assessment required prior to starting
Industry-related training and ongoing support
