CNC Machinist

Our Client, in the Oil & Gas industry, are looking for a CNC programmer/machinist for 6 month initial contract in Barrow-in-Furness  RATE: £22/h £45k level Key Responsibilities  Program, set, and operate CNC machines, (Mazak 5-axis Lathes using G-code and M-code controls)  Ability to operate Manual Lathes and Gate Mill  Interpret and work from engineering drawings, CAD data, and technical specifications.  Create, optimise, and edit CNC programs for efficient machining and minimal downtime.  Perform precision machining of components to tight tolerances.  Conduct tool selection, tool setting, and offsets to ensure high quality output.  Skills & Experience  Proven experience as a CNC Machinist/Programmer, ideally within a precision engineering environment.  Experience w Mazak machines and intergrex 200-III programming with Mazatrol Fusion 640 and SolidCAM (essential)
