About the role

Our client is looking for an experienced and proactive HR Adviser to join a rapidly growing automotive business with great benefits, including 10% employer pension contribution and an early finish every Friday. You’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day HR function while helping the business build and develop its growing team. Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities HR Administration * Maintain accurate HR records, systems and employee documentation. * Support onboarding, contracts, inductions and probation reviews. * Provide support with employee relations, investigations, disciplinary and grievance processes. * Support HR reporting, communications and employee engagement initiatives. Recruitment * Support end-to-end recruitment across the business. * Advertise vacancies, coordinate interviews and manage candidate communication. * Ensure all pre-employment and new starter documentation is completed. * Help attract and retain high-quality talent as the business continues to grow. Payroll & Benefits * Support the weekly payroll process and timesheet submissions. * Maintain accurate employee payroll and benefits information. * Liaise with Finance and payroll providers to resolve queries. * Act as a first point of contact for employee payroll queries. Training & Development * Coordinate mandatory and role-specific training. * Maintain accurate training and compliance records. * Support employee development and performance review processes. * Identify opportunities to improve training and development across the business Person Specification * Previous experience in an HR Adviser, HR Officer or similar role. * Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice. * Excellent organisation, communication and attention to detail. * Proactive, commercially minded and confident working across all levels of a business. * Experience with HR systems and Microsoft Office. * Previous recruitment and employee relations experience. * CIPD qualification or working towards one is desirable. * Payroll experience would be advantageous. * The Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-growth business at an important stage of its development.
