Job Title Painter Location: Nuneaton Hours: Double Day shifts: 6:00am – 2:30pm, 2:15pm – 10:45pm Salary: £28,646 + 12.5% shift allowance (£32,226) Type: Permanent Key Responsibilities of a Painter: * Preparation of components to achieve high-quality paint finishes * Masking and preparing parts prior to painting * Colour matching to customer specifications * Selecting appropriate paints for different applications * Spray painting primers, base coats, top coats and finishes * Working with and preparing carbon fibre components * Polishing gloss finishes to a high standard * Carrying out quality checks on completed work * Following work instructions and customer requirements * Maintaining a clean and organised work area * Adhering to health, safety and environmental procedures Key Skills of a Painter: * Experience in paint preparation and finishing processes * Ability to work with various substrates and use fillers * Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity * Ability to read and understand job packs * Experience within aerospace, automotive or manufacturing (desirable) * Knowledge of carbon fibre preparation (desirable) * Reliable, team-oriented and quality focused
