Recycling Line Operative Assistant 📍 Location: Sheffield 🕒 Shift Pattern: Panama (12-hour Days & Nights) 💷 Salary: Starting from £27,217.17 (£1,500 shift premium) 📈 Progression: Up to £34,867.35 within 18 months ⏱ Overtime: Paid at time and a half About the Role We are looking for a Recycling Line Operative Assistant to support the daily operation of our clients recycling line. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced production environment, working as part of a team to ensure efficient processing of materials. Key Responsibilities of the Recycling Assistant * Loading conveyors with the correct materials * Monitoring machinery and assisting with production processes * Identifying and removing contamination from sorting lines * Maintaining high standards of health & safety * Keeping work areas clean and organised * Supporting daily and weekly maintenance tasks * Supporting the Recycling Line Operator and Shift Supervisor The Ideal Recycling Assistant * Experience in recycling or manufacturing environments (preferred but not essential) * Machine operation or engineering experience is advantageous * Willingness to be trained on FLT (Counterbalance/Reach) What's on Offer to the Recycling Assistant * Structured pay progression through 4 pay bands * Opportunity to reach top rate within 18 months * Full training provided * Stable, long-term employment * Overtime opportunities at enhanced rates Shift Pattern Reminder!!
