Stores Operative Tewkesbury | £12.75 - £13.50 per hour | Full-Time (39 hours) | Permanent

Pertemps Gloucester are recruiting for a Stores Operative to join a growing and well-invested manufacturing business in Tewkesbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced warehouse or stores professional looking to join a busy team with long-term career prospects. You'll be responsible for managing goods in and goods out, maintaining accurate stock records, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the stores department. Forklift experience is desirable, but training can be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Manage goods in and goods out processes

Operate a forklift truck safely (training available)

Maintain accurate stock records and inventory levels

Carry out stock checks and support stock takes

Correctly code, track, and issue materials

Support dispatch activities and goods collections

Follow health & safety procedures and maintain a tidy working environment

Assist with general warehouse operations as required

About You

Previous warehouse or stores experience

Strong goods in, goods out, and stock control knowledge

Manufacturing or production environment experience preferred

Forklift licence advantageous but not essential

Good IT skills and experience using stock systems

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

A proactive, reliable team player with a positive attitude
