The Parts Dealer Support Specialist supports the UK dealer network by managing backorders, handling dealer enquiries, and coordinating internally to improve parts availability. The role helps ensure smooth dealer operations and delivers a high standard of aftersales service.

Our client is a fast growing automotive brand bringing innovative products and fresh customer experience to the UK market. As their parts business continues to grow, they are looking for a Parts Specialist to join the team.
Description
Monitor daily backorders, maintaining clear visibility of open lines and inbound order progress to support planning and dealer communication.
Liaise with headquarters and suppliers to resolve overdue, urgent, or high‑impact parts supply issues.
Prioritise critical backorders based on vehicle off‑road cases, customer impact, workshop demand, and business urgency.
Provide clear, regular updates on backorder status, expected delivery timings, risks, and recovery actions.
Investigate recurring backorder and supply issues, supporting actions to reduce ageing and improve performance.
Act as a key point of contact for dealer parts enquiries, responding in a timely, professional, and solution‑focused manner.
Coordinate closely with internal teams to resolve dealer issues and ensure queries follow correct systems and escalation routes.
Maintain accurate parts data and prepare regular reports on stock, orders, dealer issues, and operational performance.Profile
A successful Parts Specialist should have:
Experience in parts operations, inventory planning, supply chain, or aftersales support, ideally within the automotive sector.
Strong understanding of parts replenishment, stock control, and order fulfilment processes.
Proven experience with backorder management, supply issue coordination, or dealer support.
Effective communicator with strong coordination skills across dealers and internal stakeholders.
Analytical, detail‑oriented, and confident working with operational and performance data.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office tools, with SAP or ERP system experience preferred, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.Job Offer
Competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum.
Bonus opportunity of up to 15%.
Generous pension scheme: 5% employee contribution and 7% employer contribution.
25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.
