Find a role where you really care about what you do every day, because when your work has purpose, when you can see the difference you’re making, it changes everything.

One of our schools in Greenwich is looking for a Maths Teacher to join their team this September, and this is a role where your impact goes far beyond delivering lessons.

You’ll be working in a small, specialist setting with just 25–30 pupils and class sizes capped at eight. These are students who have faced significant challenges, often linked to bullying and severe anxiety. They don’t tend to act out, instead, they withdraw, they lose confidence, and they disengage. Understanding those challenges, and being part of the solution, is what this role is all about.

Supporting SEND students is different in every school. Finding one that truly aligns with your values and teaching style makes all the difference and this is a setting built on patience, compassion, and genuine care.

The leadership team here is committed to supporting their staff just as much as their students. They have built a collaborative culture where relationships matter, people look out for each other, and you feel part of something meaningful from day one.

You’ll be teaching across a wide academic range, from GCSE and Functional Skills through to primary-level learning, so adaptability and a creative approach to maths will be essential.

What’s on offer:

  • A close-knit, supportive team where your contribution is valued.

  • Small classes that allow you to focus on each individual.

  • An informal, relationship-led working environment.

  • A 36-week working year, giving you more balance and downtime.

  • PPA time from home once established.

Facing challenges and responding with patience and compassion is what builds a meaningful career in SEND education. If that resonates with you, this could be the kind of role that reminds you why you started teaching in the first place. xwzovoh
