Maintenance Engineer

The basics: Job Title: Maintenance Engineer Industry: Manufacturing Location: Crewe Pay: Up to £58,193 DOE + OT = earnings of £63,000 and upwards achievable Shift: Panama Shift (Days Only - 12 hrs): 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off (6.00am to 6.00pm and 11.00am to 11.00pm - rotation discussed at interview) Overtime: x1.5 Mon-Sat and x2 on Sundays Holidays: 22 shifts. Overview: We now require a Maintenance Engineer to join the engineering team. Working for a manufacturing business that have sites across the globe you will be working in a multi skilled role. Both electrical and mechanical engineers considered, however electrical skills will be required for the role. Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role: To maintain, service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time. Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns PPM'sThe ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually: Time served, apprentice trained or above Previous experience working in a maintenance focused role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar. An electrical understanding changing like for like parts and basic fault finding would be beneficial if you do not have electrical certifications (Electrical training can be given - the company provide electrical courses offsite) Experienced working with Hydraulic focused machinery beneficialCommutable from: Crewe, Nantwich, Sandbach, Winsford, Alsager, Kidsgrove and surrounding areas.
