PE Teacher role in: Birmingham
Starting date: ASAP
Salary: MPS1 - MPS6 per day, DOE
Temporary Contract: Long term cover
Full Time Vacancy: (8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday)
PE Teacher Specification
We are currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic PE Teacher for a full-time role at a secondary school in the Birmingham area. This position is to start ASAP and is a temporary contract.
To be considered, you must have prior experience delivering Physical Education lessons to secondary-aged students (KS3 and KS4), with a proven ability to inspire young learners and promote physical wellbeing and healthy lifestyles.
You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable)
Experience teaching PE at secondary level (KS3/KS4 essential, KS5 desirable)
A passion for promoting sports, physical fitness, and teamwork
Strong classroom management and lesson delivery skills
Ability to plan and deliver engaging practical and theory PE lessons
Knowledge of GCSE PE curriculum is advantageous
Safeguarding Level 1 trained (we can assist with this)
A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
