SEN Intervention Teaching Assistant

In this vital role, you'll work closely with a specific student or a small group of students, delivering tailored interventions that help them overcome academic, emotional, or behavioural challenges and reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities of an SEN Intervention Teaching Assistant:
Targeted Intervention: Deliver one-to-one or small group support tailored to the students' specific needs-whether they are related to learning, social development, or behaviour.
* Lesson Adaptation: Assist in planning and delivering lessons or activities that are accessible, engaging, and adapted to each student's individual learning style and pace.
* Monitoring & Feedback: Track students' progress and regularly share observations with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure effective support is in place.
* Emotional Support: Create a safe, nurturing environment that encourages emotional resilience, confidence, and independence.
* Collaborative Support: Work as part of a wider team-including teaching staff, SENCO, and parents-to implement consistent strategies that promote development and inclusion.What We're Looking For:
Empathy & Patience: A calm and understanding approach to supporting children with additional needs, particularly during moments of difficulty.
* Adaptability: A flexible mindset that recognises and responds to the unique challenges and strengths of each child.
* Clear Communicator: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families.
Competitive Daily Rate: £90-£95 per day
* Location: Slough
