The Role
As a full-time Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative EYFS learning experiences
Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
Encourage children’s social, emotional, and educational development
Support pupils on both a 1:1 basis and in small groups
Promote independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
Build strong relationships with children, staff, and parents/carers
Contribute to the wider school ethos of respect, care, and high expectations
Essential Requirements
Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education.
You will also need:
Previous experience working within an Early Years setting
A strong understanding of the EYFS framework
A caring, patient, and proactive approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting young children’s learning and development
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
