WORKSHOP MANAGER – BURY – £40,600 + UP TO £6,000 BONUS/ PERMANENT POSITION People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Workshop Manager to join our well-established automotive client based in Bury on a full-time permanent basis.

This would suit applicants who have worked as a Workshop Supervisor, Garage Manager or Service Manager.
Rates of Pay:
£40,600 per annum
Up to £6,000 performance-related bonus
Potential earnings of up to £46,600 per annum
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday
8:00am to 5:00pm

Day-to-Day Duties:
Your duties as a Workshop Manager are:
Managing the day-to-day running of a busy automotive workshop
Supporting and managing workshop employees
Coordinating workloads to ensure work is completed efficiently
Monitoring productivity and workshop performance
Ensuring high standards of workmanship and customer service
Supporting the team to achieve operational and business targets
Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed throughout the workshop
Identifying and resolving operational issues
Maintaining an organised and efficient working environment
Essential Skills:
To be successful as a Workshop Manager , you will need:
Previous experience within an automotive workshop environment
Experience supervising or managing a workshop team
Strong organisational and people-management skills
Good understanding of workshop operations
Ability xwzovoh to manage workloads and priorities effectively
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment
A hands-on and proactive approach to management
Training:
Industry-related training provided
Ongoing support and development
Management and operational training where applicable
