Unqualified Teacher - Portsmouth Prospero Teaching is currently seeking confident and motivated Unqualified Teachers to support secondary schools throughout Portsmouth. This role offers the same responsibilities as cover supervision and is ideal for individuals who are comfortable leading a classroom and want to gain hands‑on experience in education without holding QTS. You will take responsibility for classes during teacher absence, deliver lesson content that has already been prepared, and ensure pupils remain focused and engaged. This role works particularly well for graduates, aspiring teachers, teaching assistants, tutors, mentors, youth workers, or coaches who are looking to progress within education. Positions are available on a full‑time basis, as well as flexible day‑to‑day cover, depending on your availability and preferences.
