About the role
Our client is a growing specialist contractor within the passive fire protection sector, delivering works across commercial, residential and FM-led environments.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Project Manager to support the delivery of fire door projects across multiple sites.
This role offers the chance to step into a developing division and take ownership of projects from early stages through to completion.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for managing fire door projects from survey and planning through to installation and handover, ensuring works are delivered safely, compliantly and in line with programme.
Projects range from remedial schemes through to larger commercial and multi-site programmes.
Key Responsibilities
• Supporting surveys and scoping of fire door works
• Assisting with pricing and project setup alongside commercial teams
• Managing day-to-day site activity and installation teams
• Coordinating subcontractors and deliveries
• Programming works and tracking progress
• Carrying out site inspections and quality checks
• Ensuring compliance with BM TRADA, IFC and manufacturer standards
• Maintaining clear communication with clients and stakeholders
• Keeping accurate records, reports and project documentation
Requirements
• Experience delivering fire door or passive fire protection projects
• Background in site supervision, installation or project delivery
• Understanding of fire door compliance and remedial works
• Ability to manage multiple sites and priorities
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• IT literate with experience in reporting and documentation
• Full UK driving licence
Desirable
• BM TRADA / FIRAS / IFC experience
• Fire door inspection qualifications (FDIS or similar)
• Carpentry / joinery background
• Experience within commercial or social housing projects
