Transport Operator Planner

Job Title: Transport Operator Planner  Location: Avonmouth, Bristol  Shift pattern: Monday to Friday with some Weekends, Moving to 4 on 4 off   Salary: Circa £35,000 - negotiable depending on experience  Are you an experienced Transport Operator looking for a new challenge? If you have a proven track record in the Transport Industry, this is genuinely a great opportunity with long term career prospects.  Responsibilities: Dealing with multiple drivers Route Planning Communicating with customers and external depots  Booking delivery and collection slots Using a transport system for recording driver and load information  Liaising with drivers, being aware of actual and expected arrival times, updating stakeholders on delays  Rerouting jobs as and when is needed Checking all PODS are matched up with all the correct jobs on the system Successful Applicants Will Demonstrate,  Previous experience as a Transport Operator  Planning Experience  Confident and clear communicator - written and verbal Excellent UK geographical knowledge Ability to work on own initiative Quick and efficient problem solving skills Organised at all times Flexibility to meet the demands of the business Closing date. 24th May 2026  (this may change depending on successful applications) Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are operating as an employment agency on behalf of its client.
