About the role
Brilliant Opportunity to join a newly formed business as Air Conditioning engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems across various commercial and industrial settings. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your technical expertise and leadership skills within a dynamic environment. Candidates should possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in equipment repair, with a focus on delivering high-quality service and ensuring optimal system performance.
This role will cover nationwide YOU MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL & STAY AWAY
Duties
* Install, commission, and test air conditioning systems in accordance with technical specifications and schematics.
* Conduct routine maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably.
* Diagnose faults and perform repairs on various air conditioning units and related equipment.
* Lead maintenance teams during large-scale projects or system upgrades, providing guidance and supervision.
* Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to facilitate accurate installation and repair work.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all phases of work.
* Collaborate with construction teams during building projects to integrate air conditioning systems seamlessly.
* Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs, and system performance.
Skills
* Strong mechanical knowledge related to air conditioning systems and equipment repair.
* Proficiency in reading schematics, technical drawings, and manuals.
* Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively.
* Experience in equipment repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of air conditioning units.
* Knowledge of construction processes as they relate to HVAC installation projects.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
