Job Details – Nursery Room Leader
Job Title: Nursery Room Leader / Senior Early Years Practitioner
Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday)
Salary: Up to £30,651 per annum (dependent on experience)

Role Overview
As a Nursery Room Leader / Senior Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing and inspiring environment where children can learn, grow and thrive.
You will be responsible for leading by example within your room, supporting colleagues, and ensuring high-quality early years practice is consistently delivered.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality early years education in line with EYFS principles
* Embed learning opportunities into daily routines such as play, mealtimes and transitions
* Build strong, positive relationships with children and their families
* Support and guide colleagues within your room to maintain best practice
* Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and reflective practice
* Ensure safeguarding, welfare and wellbeing of all children is prioritised at all times
About You
We are looking for a passionate and committed early years professional who brings energy, empathy and enthusiasm to their work.
You will have:
* A Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
* Experience working across a range of early years age groups
* Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
* Excellent communication skills with children, families and colleagues
* A team-focused mindset with a caring and supportive approach
* The ability to recognise and maximise learning opportunities in everyday moments
