In this role, you will drive the design, execution, and validation of intricate subsystems that power our cutting-edge wireless, voice, and audio semiconductors. You will be instrumental in defining next-generation features and ensuring our silicon remains at the forefront of market performance.
As an Analog Design Engineer your responsibilities will include:
- Architectural Strategy: Conceptualize and define the framework for sophisticated power-management blocks, ensuring they meet the high-performance demands of modern connectivity chips.
- Design & Development: Execute the full development lifecycle for analog sub-cells and small-scale subsystems, from initial specification to final implementation.
- Validation & Delivery: Take full accountability for the delivery of rigorously verified blocks, supporting the wider team in the characterization and testing of power-management infrastructures.
- Complex Problem Solving: Navigate and resolve multifaceted technical challenges within highly optimized and resource-constrained design environments.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with macro leads and diverse engineering departments to ensure timely delivery and seamless integration of high-quality subsystems.
- Technical Excellence: Maintain a position at the leading edge of the industry by integrating emerging analog design trends and methodologies into your workflow.
As an Analog Design Engineer your skills will include:
- Degree in electrical engineering or similar domain
- 5+ years of professional tenure in analog IC design
- Demonstrated mastery in the design of essential Power Management IPs, specifically SMPS (Switched-Mode Power Supplies) and LDOs (Low-Dropout Regulators).
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and verification suites, such as Cadence and Mentor
- Experience using Matlab or similar system-level tools to architect and specify complex blocks is highly advantageous
- Profound grasp of analog design principles and the ability to define rigorous requirements for complex circuitry
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with interdisciplinary groups and translate business needs into technical specifications
- Knowledge of upstreaming workflows and community-led development processes
