We are working with a leading international law firm to recruit a Non-Contentious Construction Solicitor to join its highly regarded team in Manchester.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile, complex construction and infrastructure projects, advising a top-tier client base across a range of sectors including real estate, energy, and infrastructure.

The Role

You will play a key role in advising clients on the full lifecycle of construction projects, from procurement through to completion, working alongside an experienced and collaborative team.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Drafting and negotiating a wide range of construction contracts (including JCT and NEC)
• Advising on procurement strategies and project structuring
• Supporting on major development and infrastructure projects
• Providing commercially focused legal advice to clients across multiple sectors
• Working closely with colleagues across real estate, projects, and finance teams
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships

About You

• Qualified solicitor (England & Wales)
• Experience in non-contentious construction law, ideally gained at a recognised firm
• Strong knowledge of standard form construction contracts (JCT, NEC)
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
• Commercially aware with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
