SEND Casework Officers
A Local Authority in the West Midlands is looking for several SEND Casework Officers.
Rate: £270 per day
Hours: Full-time, fully remote
Contract: 3-6 months (with likely extension)
Start: ASAPRole Overview:
The SEND Casework Team supports over 4,600 children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities to achieve positive educational outcomes.
This role involves working closely with families and multi-agency professionals to coordinate, develop, implement, and review Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate EHCP processes in line with the Children and Families Act 2014 and SEND Code of Practice
Produce high-quality EHCPs, ensuring they are clear, accurate, and outcomes-focused
Prepare for and attend meetings related to the EHCP process, including annual reviews
Liaise effectively with parents/carers, schools, and multi-agency professionals
Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with key stakeholders
Monitor and review EHCPs, making amendments where required
Support children and young people to achieve positive outcomes and transition successfully between education phasesIf you are interested please reach out to me on or call me on (phone number removed)
